  1. Kaneganese & Pacifist,

Please look at my "Labels" list for changes I have made.

If you make a post in Japanese, please use the following label:

    "Posts: Japanese"

And if you make a post in English, please use the following label:

    "Posts: English"

  2. Gerry,

I just tried to put my posting as a trial, but I'm sorry it's too long....
And it was written in Japanese (original) and in English (my translation), so I couldn' see whether it must belong to posts in English or in Japanese.

Anyway, please correct my English text to the fluent one, and if you want to move it to some other frame, I don't mind.

By the way, I think it would be good if there are some frames to post; for example, as to the posting for Japanese sides, how about to make the following four categories?
    (1) evidences to show that Japan owned Liancourt rocks in the Edo period - before the An Yong-Bok issue (documents, newspaper articles, photos, maps etc), (2) evidences around the An Yong-Bok issue (documents and records in Japan),
    (3) evidences from the late 19th century to 1905 (documents concerning sea lion hunting, documents of Meiji government including the 1878 "Matsushima no Gi", Nakai's petition and declaration of the incorporation in 1905 etc) and (4)San Francisco Peace Treaty and the "I Seung-man line".

  3. Pacifist,

I separated your post into a Japanese post and an English post (translation) with links connecting the two. I think it will look better if we separate the English and the Japanese. Also, by separating the two, it will allow Japanese readers to comment on the Japanese post and English readers to comment on the English post.

It is late right now, so I think I will wait until tomorrow before editing your post.

Under the title of the blog is a menu that has a category labelled "Events," where I plan to show links to posts that talk about particular events in the history Dokdo/Takeshima. For example, under the "Events" menu, there might be an event labelled "The An Yong-bok Incident," which links to a post that talks about that incident. The Korean incorporation of Ulleungdo as a county of Kangwon Province in 1900 would also be an event, and so would the making of the Rhee Syngman Peace Line. We can make all kinds of "Event" topics.

By the way, I plan on separating the events into a Japanese Language version and an English Language version, so that readers can go to the version they feel more comfortable with. I am hoping you and Kaneganese will handle the Japanese language version.

Well, I have to get some sleep. Take care and thanks.
